오픽 꿀팁 OPIc AL 맞는 법

오픽은 무엇보다도 원어민처럼 자연스럽게 얘기를 하는 것이 가장 중요하다.

필자는 한 문장을 머릿속으로 완벽하게 구성하고 말하려는 버릇 때문에 pause가 많다는 문제가 있었다. 이러한 공백은 아래에 정리해놓은 문장/어구들로 채우면 더욱 자연스럽게 고칠 수 있다.

여러 번 읽고, 질답 연습 시 공백이 생기려는 사이사이에 끼워넣는 연습도 같이 하면 좋다.

 

< 질문이 어려울 때 >

It’s quite a tough question.

That’s tough! 각 문장에 Wow 붙이면 굿

I didn’t expect such a hard question.

That’s not an easy question.

 

< 질문에 대해 생각한 적 없을 때 >

I don’t really know what to tell you about it. but umm..~

 

< 시작은 느리게 점점 빠르게 >

umm..으로 시작

중간중간에 you know 빠르게

I was like, ~에서도 빠르게

I mean 아닌 you know를 써야 해!!

pause 전에 쓴 단어로 이어서 말해야 함. ~the… 했으면 the park was~ 이렇게 이어야 함

 

< 아무것도 할 수 없었다 >

I wasn’t able to do anything

I couldn’t do anything

 

< 습관 얘기할 때 >

No matter what ~

whenever I ~

병원 갈 때도 go to hospital (X) to see a doctor (O) 미용실 갈 때, go to a hair stylist

 

< 단어장 >

Flooded: 홍수가 났다.

Typhoon: 태풍

We were forced to~ ~할 수밖에 없었다.

indispensable : 필수적으로(필수불가결의 느낌)

a mind of its own: 자기 맘대로 한다  

ex) my hair has a mind of its own, so I need it to be well maintained! = my hair is always messy.

spacious : 공간이 넓은/많은

none of that matters : 앞에 말한 건 전혀 중요하지 않다.

occasionally: 가끔

stock: 재고

입다 신다 어쩌고  => wear, put on

As you may (already) know~: 네가 이미 알 수도 있지만,

I’m broke: 나는 돈이 없다. 가난하다..

make a living = want a job

automatically unemployed : 취업이 어렵다.
